Behavior of Semiconducting Materials |
Description
In this activity, students explore the behavior of semiconducting materials, the HOMO and LUMO orbital occupancy and their relationship to the conducting band. In their exploration, they observe a DC circuit and observe the direction of the current as a function of voltages from -4 V to +4 V, and infer on the changes in the direction and magnitude of the electron flow, with several dopant configurations. |
