Afrikaans: Gifblaar, 'n suider-Afrikaanse plant wat fluoroasetaat produseer om dit van beweiding te beskerm
English: a poison leaf (ratbane, Dichapetalum cymosum, gifblaar). The plant is African and has naturally made fluorocetate, a poison, to ward off animals.
