Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi receives an honor guard as his four year tenure of Chief of Staff and 40 years of service in the IDF comes to a close. The honour guard took place today at the IDF Kirya Compound Headquarters in Tel Aviv.

Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz will succeed Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi as Chief of the General Staff.
