Summary
DescriptionNewtons cradle animation book 2.gif |
English: Animation of Newton's cradle, resting on a copy of Newton's famous book Principia Mathematica (not an exact copy, though - his added portrait on top is "artistic liberty" This image was modified from the original by User:Scetoaux. The modification added a frame between the impacts of the ball on each end, to eliminate the illusion of the ball on the opposite end leaving before the first ball strikes. This was done to make the image a better contender for Featured Picture status on the English Wikipedia. The original can be found here.)
