Lob sei Gott, dem Herrn der Menschen in aller Welt,

الرحمن الرحيم

dem Allerbarmer und Gnädigen
4.
ملك يوم الدين
māliki yaumi d-dīn
der am Tage des Gerichts regiert!
5.
إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين
iyyāka naʿbudu wa-iyyāka nastaʿīn
Dir dienen wir, und dich bitten wir um Hilfe!
6.
اهدنا الصرط المستقيم
ihdinā s-sirāta l-mustaqīm
Führe uns den geraden Weg,
7.
صرط الذين أنعمت عليهم غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضآلين
sirāta lladhīna anʿamta ʿalaihim ghairi l-maghdūbi ʿalaihim wa-lā d-dālīn
den Weg derer, denen du Gnade erwiesen hast, nicht (den Weg) derer, die d(ein)em Zorn verfallen sind und irregehen!
