Summary
The famous Kunz Axe, reportedly found in the hills of Oaxaca in 1890. Named after George Kunz, this votive axe was one of the first artifacts to be identified with the Olmec civilization. The end comes to an edge, although it is very doubtful that the axe ever served more than a ritual function.
