Ainsi aucune administration publique en Nouvelle-Calédonie ne se voit obligée d' arborer les deux drapeaux. Ces deux drapeaux sont hissés notamment sur le Haut-commissariat de la République, sur le siège de la Province Sud, sur celui du Sénat coutumier, et sur celui du Congrès.
