Català: Paranimf de l'edifici històric de la Universitat de Barcelona, obra de l'arquitecte Elies Rogent. El Paranimf és l’espai més emblemàtic de l’Edifici Històric. Concebut com el cor de la vida universitària, es troba situat al cos central de l’edifici i exactament sobre el vestíbul. La construcció del Paranimf es va donar per acabada l’any 1884, en què es van penjar els sis grans quadres de temàtica històrica. Al Paranimf hi tenen lloc els actes més solemnes, com ara les inauguracions de curs o les investidures de doctor honoris causa. A més, és escenari de nombroses activitats acadèmiques, científiques i culturals.
