Description
English: Quito, Ecuador: the so-called Virgin of Quito. Erected in 1977 on El Panecillo (small piece of bread). The statue is a replica of the 30cm-sculpture created in the 18th century by the sculptor Bernardo de Legarda of the Quito School.
Español: Quito, Ecuador: La Virgen de Quito en El Panecillo. La estatua de aluminium que fue erigida en al año 1977 es une réplica de la escultura de 30 centímetros realizada en el siglo XVIII por el escultor quiteño Bernardo de Legarda.
Français: Quito, Équateur : La Vierge de Quito au Panecillo (petit pain). Construite en aluminium en 1977, la statue est une réplique d'une sculpture de 30 cm du sculpteur Bernardo de Legarda (XVIIIe siècle) de l'École de Quito.
