Description | The Old Court House (now NatWest Bank) on St Peter's Square in Ruthin, Wales, was built in 1401, immediately after the town was razed in the opening action of Owain Glyndwr's rebellion. The remains of the gibbet, last used to execute a Catholic priest in 1679, are on the reverse side of the building. |
