The eigenfaces were computed from faces in the ORL Face database . The ORL face database is a public domain face database. The eigenfaces capture appearance and lighting conditions quite well. More generic eigenfaces can be computed when more faces are combined.
These images can be used with credit to AT&T Laboratories Cambridge.
