Late antique textile from Egypt, now in Dumbarton Oaks Museum, Washington, DC. Picture taken by Kenneth Mayer in 2002, uploaded in 2006 and released into the public domain.

Textile fragment shows Zeus in the form of a bull carrying off the maid Europa (the "rape of Europa").

Photo has been digitally retouched to remove glare from the vitrine in the upper right and left corners.
